Stephen Klemchuck, Director of Business Development for Audatex Canada, is about to enter his seventh year with Solera.t Still his love for and dedication to the technology and automotive industries goes back much further. Not only has Klemchuck worked in tech for esteemed companies like IBM, Dell, and Johnson & Johnson, but he’s been passionate about cars and computers since childhood. For him, that’s the secret to staying young and loving your job.

“Driving and tinkering with go-karts and playing computer games are two aspects of my childhood I chose not to leave behind,” Klemchuck said. “I’ve also always believed the most fulfilling job for me would be one where I could really help people. For me, I have found that when combining those three things, it doesn’t get better than working for Solera.”

Klemchuck is highly passionate about and well-known in the company for his problem-solving propensity. And, because he focuses on the body shop and insurance verticals, there’s no shortage of problems to solve. “When I communicate with clients, I really look to uncover those hidden pain points and help solve them with our products and solutions. I focus on consulting first and selling second,” Klemchuck said. Because of that, “I truly believe we help people on a grand scale,” he said.

The two biggest challenges Klemchuck is helping his clients resolve are the parts and labor shortages. He has found that the next-generation technology, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and visual intelligence (VI) that Solera uses in its solutions, really helps customers maximize their current resources while filling in any gaps. “It’s very exciting to see the look on people’s faces and hear the relief in their voices when we provide them with the right solutions to solve their problems,” Klemchuck said. He firmly believes that when they win, we win.

“We work really hard. And if there was no positive outcome to what we do, I don’t think I would want to be here,” he said. “But there is – and in my opinion, it doesn’t get any better than this.”
