Business Pro Tip: Great partners are listeners.
Quote: “I joined Solera because the industry is reinventing itself leveraging AI, data, and technology. I believe Solera is uniquely positioned to drive and be a significant part of that change. That’s the kind of challenge I love to face. I look forward to helping my clients achieve their digital ambitions.”
Martin has been in the insurance technology industry for more than 20 years. He spent 17 of those years at Applied Systems – a former Vista company – where he worked in many sales and management roles including Director of Insurer Solutions. For the last two years, he managed the business development for and partnerships of a fast-growing Canadian insurance technology startup leveraging AI. He has also managed sales of a transportation routing software company.
At Solera, Martin will focus on using our innovative, expansive suite of products to help solve big challenges for Quebec’s insurers and their partners for both the automotive and property sides of the claims business. He loves the fast-paced growth and innovation of Solera and is looking forward to helping insurers realize their digital strategies.
Martin is a strategic thinker who is passionate about solving the extra difficult problems keeping his customers up at night. He is most excited about the newest technologies Solera Audatex is bringing to the Quebec market and the opportunities they create:
- Enservio leverages AI for faster contents claims cycle times and is now available in French.
- Qapter Visual Intelligence (VI) combines machine learning and computer vision algorithms with a rich data lake of one billion images and more than 300 million claims worldwide to automatically detect and estimate damage.
- Audatex Insight helps transform data into actionable analytics by effectively monitoring, measuring, and managing claim performance and loss experience.
“I’m a big believer that sales is really all about listening, not talking,” he said. “On a customer visit, great partners ask open-ended questions to understand the exact challenges the other party is facing. That’s the most important ingredient to a great partnership.”
Martin is excited about helping his customers utilize these next generation Solera solutions to help them achieve their strategic goals and better serve their customers.
